My original background is in the theatre and creative industries. I have worked as a performer and writer, as well as a facilitator of drama workshops or youth and children in different settings.
I remain fascinated by the power of storytelling and always consider it a privilege when someone tells me their story because I realize how often clients don’t consider themselves as the protagonist of their own life.
I work hard to help my clients to find new narratives, to pro-actively rewrite their story in light of their evolving understandings. Because we can get stuck in a story that reinforces old patterns as we tell it. It feels joyful when I work with clients who feel able to accept the threads and colours they’ve been given, but choose to weave a new pattern, and a different story
